Local Astronauts Host Garage Sales To Raise Money For New Space Suits

“Our suits haven’t improved in over 40 years.  Even when they are at their best, we still suffer long term health effects,” said NASA’s chief astronaut.  “And frankly, sometimes they just don’t work. I’ve lost a lot of colleagues to these dangerous, antiquated suits.”

These astronauts are frantically trying to raise money to develop new suits. In between all their training, they are hosting garage sales and lemonade stands. They sell friendship bracelets and t-shirts, all to try to make it better for the next astronauts.

“Space travel is very rare. Not enough people do it, so there isn’t an ROI on improving on the existing model,” says NASA’s Budget Committee.

Kids Battling Cancer Raise Money For Better Treatments

“Our suits treatments haven’t improved in over 40 years.  Even when they are at their best, we still suffer long-term health effects,” said the astronaut Little Warriors everywhere.  “And frankly, sometimes they just don’t work. We’ve lost a lot of colleagues friends to these dangerous, antiquated suits treatments.”

Astronauts Little Warriors and their loved ones are frantically trying to raise money to develop new suits treatments. In between all their training chemotherapy, appointments, and hospital admissions, they are hosting garage sales and lemonade stands. They sell friendship bracelets and t-shirts, all to try to make it better for the next astronaut kid.

Space Travel Ewing Sarcoma is very rare. Not enough people do it get it, so there isn’t an ROI on improving on the existing model,” said NASA’s Budget Committee Big Pharma.

At Little Warrior Foundation, we think both of these stories are equally absurd. We’d love if they were BOTH April Fools’ jokes, but the childhood cancer version is absolutely true. For every dollar spent on adult cancers, kids get just four pennies. And what the nation spends on adult cancer is peanuts in comparison to our galactic spending on space programs.

US Federal Budget - Childhood Cancer.

No matter how you cut it, kids aren’t getting a fair shake from Big Pharma or Uncle Sam. Foundations like Little Warrior exist to fill the gap. We thank you for supporting our mission — from lemonade stands, t-shirt sales, yard sales, events, sponsorships and donations — every penny moves us closer to our goal of finding and funding the permanent cure for Ewings Sarcoma.

To infinity and beyond!
