New Name, Same Mission: Cure Cancer

The Spada Pediatric Sarcoma Foundation is now the Little Warrior Foundation.

Why the change?

Because this is about all kids fighting Ewing sarcoma, nationwide — not just about Lucy or the Spada family. It’s about every single kid in the fight, the survivors, the angel warriors, and those who haven’t even been diagnosed yet. We're an inclusive landing place for anyone who is ready to fight on behalf of these kids. 

Also, Spada Pediatric Sarcoma Foundation is — frankly — a mouthful. When we were building this foundation from Lucy’s bedside in the wee hours, we didn’t have the luxury of brand exploration. We’re grateful “SPSF” has taken us this far, but it’s time to level up to a name that matches our mission.

What hasn’t changed?

Our mission, or the people powering this engine (us! all of you!) We’re still 100% focused on research — and we’re still hellbent on finding & funding a lasting cure for Ewing Sarcoma. We’re looking to build on our year one success with a bigger and better year two.

What now?

You can now find us at www.little-warrior.org. We’re now legally recognized as Little Warrior Foundation Inc. The transition is underway and will be cascading through all of our touch points in the next two weeks.

Nope. The IRS recognizes our name change, but they know it’s still us. You don't need to change a thing for taxes.
